Well, I got the car Wed evening and didn't get to check it out until Thursday. All in all it looks like a good quality car, the only thing I didn't like was the radio, it just fealt cheezy in my hand so I took out the RTR radio and installed my Futaba 4PL system. I looked over the car and made some toe in adjustments to the front and checked everything over. I'm gonna bring it to the track this afternoon for practice to give it a try. I'll be running two Gens Ace 2s, 5000mah, 50c Lipos together in series, the car come with the adaptor to do this in order to run on 4s Lipo if you don't actually have a 4s pack (which I don't).
I've been and out of RC and racing for 25 years and here are some things I did not know;
The Thunder Tiger EB4 G3 is based off of their EB4 S3 nitro, pro race buggy
Ryan Maifield drove for Thunder Tiger and won the ROAR Nationals with the Thunder Tiger EB4 S3 buggy (beating out Team Losi)
Thunder Tiger bought out and owns Team Associated in 2005
The EB4 G3 seems to be really popular as a racer in other countries (but not here in the US)
