Tha last image has indications of the engine being run. The piston should be pristine semi mirror appearance to the skirt. It seems to have the usual vertical ''telltale'' burnish pattern of an engine which has been run.
Unless its how the flash lit the engine, I agree it looks run. The piston ring should be black if unrun. Silver color if run in.
