RE: Hangar 9 30cc P-47 Build Thread
I have postponed the cowl screw issue whole I work on other things; but it does look like I can notch the fuselage edge by the the two screws and you will not be able to see it once the cowl is on.
I solved the spring problem. Looked at a picture of the gear on Robart website. There are suppose to be two centering springs on either side of the tailwheel; mine are missing.
a few pictures of my progress. And yes I had one of the planes with the too short hatch.
