RE: Skymaster 1:7.75 A-10 - Anyone building or flying it?
I recently finished one and have installed a pair of Wren 44 Gold 10 pounders. All up weight less fuel is 31.8 pounds. I have installed the dummy turbo fans. On the first flight, it took all of the up trim to get it to fly level. I have it balanced at the forward most CG location.
You thoughts:
At what position do your elevators sit at neutral?
Can this model be flown with a more rearward CG?
Do you think the dummy fans create enough drag that result in a nose down attitude, therefore the up trim is required?
