Paul, thanks for you opinion. In fact I think this is the best and most reliable solution. The only concern is about having enough fuel volume for a 8/10 minutes flights. Of course your comments are very helpfull cause your personal experience with DC6...wich has same wing of DC4 and an extendend fuse.
