I felt that the RC Pattern community should be made aware that John Contreras (RCU "Flyjohn") unexpectedly passed away this last Saturday.

He was a District 7 pilot and competed in many west coast contests. He was also the treasurer of the Yuma Aeromodelers Club. He was a good friend to many and will be most remembered for his laugh, as he took few things too seriously. He will be surely missed................
