I have watch a few Jets fly and they are awesome. My brain don't work quick enough to handle the speed these were reaching, just imagine what an afterburner would do. The look best at night, In the late 60's I was stationed at the Naval Air Station Key West and the Navy had 4 F4 Phantoms sitting on a hot pad 24-7. From time to time they would scramble one or two and my office had a look right down the runway. One night around 8:00 or so something happened and all 4 of the Phantoms were scrambled in full afterburner. Every building on base was shaking and the sight of them lifting off and going vertical was a sight to be see. Would love to see a model do the same thing.
