BelAirBob, good to read about your adventures with your HH. The main reason for experimenting with ballast was to get the center of gravity as far back as possible in order to help with landing performance. The real breakthrough on my new Hurricane is the revolutionary new receiver that makes me look like a super pilot on landings every time now. I am looking forward to flying it next fall during my Battle of Britain commemoration along with three (3) Spitfires. In the meantime I finally got it out of the front room and hanging in the garage in order to make room for my new Mosquito that I am currently preparing for war.

Rolling in to attack now.

Out.

The following URL brings up the most concise, non-technical (with technical references) discussion about the revolutionary THORIUM PLASMA BATTERY technology I have found on the web. ENJOY! Oh what fun we are going to have in the future of flight!

''mad thorium batteries'' typed in Yahoo and/or Google brings up some great information about thorium plasma batteries.
