Default RE: Kangke Waco Biplane

Crossup-RCU,
Have no fear, we will not abandon the aerobatic planes. There are both 35% and 40% planes being designed as we speak. You must understand, there is a long process of testing before we will put a design in production and many don't make it. We also pay close attention to the market, and the large number of "small" gas engines being introduced is a clear indicator that this is a direction a major portion of the fliers are headed. There are not many pilots that can afford a $2000 40% bird that needs a $1500 engine and $1000-$1500 in digital servos, flight gear, and battery packs. In the long run the sales numbers tell the story. The Monocoupe is not aerobatic yet they are selling almost as fast as we can make them, this is because not everyone wants a hot bird. We feel the people who fly to relax are just as important to this sport as anyone and deserve just as much attention.
