So after a few very long phone calls and some research i found out that this boat is a Dumas Drag n' Fly 40. I want to put an engine back in this thing but i feel like i am way over my head on this endeavor. I want to end up restoring this thing back to its old condition without putting a bunch of newer stuff in it. Can somebody point me in the right direction for stuff to look for on eBay and other websites. I want this thing to have an old engine in it like it had back in the day and i just have no idea where to start. What size and type of engine was this boat designed to have in it, what else do i need in addition to the motor to make this thing work? Can anybody offer me any help or suggestions or want to guru me through this project?
