I guess this was meant to be in the Queen Bee thread?

A 6x4 may seem to be about the right load during a bench run, it gives good idle and transition, but mine would overheat easily. That problem is not present on a 6x3 prop, but the idle is not as nice, due to the lack of load I guess.

The Thunder Tigre 07GP has similar problems, and runs better on lighter loads too, i.e. a 6x3 prop.

As with all engines, one has to go with a prop that the engine can handle at sustained full throttle setting.
