cool 6x6 idea, you should sub my yT channel, as I'm about to show people how to make chassis that would solve this problem for you. I'm using strong tin signs as the chassis, and fiberglass tent tubes as the chassis spacers. They also hold the body on via neodymium magnets or posts. I had used cardboard as the chassis on the Jeep Liberty but wanted to drive it in the creeks and snow, and didn't think of plasti dipping it in time. The cardboard chassis, did really good backed with plastic from dvd cases.... It would have lasted forever if dipped, but now I've finally figure out how I'm going to do it and am stoked. As for my 6x6 in the future I planned on making the middle wheels articulate a little bit if nothing else by cutting into the chassis or trans or both.
