To be honest all I use is CA and kicker, then I go around the entire edge with 3/4 oz. glass and oil based Minwax urethane followed by primer and topcoat, the trick is to kick the CA of as fast as you can while flooding the the canopy area with a fan, this keeps the CA from fogging the canopy.
