We hosted the first ever Boston Blizzard Fly-In on Sunday during blizzard Neptune. Only two (crazy) pilots showed up to fly despite the horrible conditions. 25-30mph winds with gusts to 55mh, -20F wind chill factor, blowing snow with drifts 6' high, un-plowed field and runway. But we manged to get to the field, fly, and with no casualties to planes or frostbite to critical digits. Best fun we had in a long time. Looking at winter completely differently these days
