After looking at the pics I would strongly advise you do a complete tear down and rebuild. Its in pretty bad shape and problems could be hiding anywhere. Only part I wouldn't touch is the tranny and engine, unless they give you trouble later on. Doing this will allow you to get to know the truck inside and out as well at clean everything up.
