Futaba 4px boat use or Futaba air?
Hi guys, since i want to get a new radio and i want a serious one, i think futaba is the best solution, i actually use spektrum dx7s with marine mr3000 reciever , no problem with this setup at short range, but I want to go further, i want to reach 200 meters with absolute safety. No visibility problems, my boat is huge and has vivid colors so can be clearly seen even at long distances. I iwonder why futaba has not yet proposed an air radio transmitter with voice alerts like the new dx9 or graupner mz24 with even color touch display, the only one is the futaba 18mz but is a 3000 U$ radio (2500 € here in Italy), why not a 14sg version with color display and integrated voice alerts (not only earphones). So i thought to 4px that would be fine for my apache 84, not for the hunter that will need 7 channels. Has anyone tried this new 4px with boats? How is the range affected by water in this pistol radio?
