Its fixed, Like I said the damage wasn't that big of a deal. In fact there really was only two broken pieces of wood. The rest just came unglued. I had the proper color of monokote on hand and beefed it all up with some hard wood blocks. I went ahead and made a hatch in the opening behind the landing gear. I will put my reliever batteries in there, I was going to do that anyways.
Microdon2- You are right, the plane does not need them. I don't think I have but 30 degrees of deflection and it just floats and floats.
