I buy my CA at Wood Workers Emporium in 8 ounce bottles, It's cheaper and fresher then what I find in the LHS. I have also bought Ca and Epoxy at the hardware stores and even the Dollar store. Not a nickles worth of difference that I have found. I have seen CA advertised as triple distilled or filtered?? Who cares, the formula is the same.
The only bad CA I have ever gotten was some Pacer I bought at an arts and craft store, it was on the shelf so long it was already turning yellow. I needed it right away so I bought it, got my project done and a week later it hardened in the bottle.
I have just never seen any of the bigger bottles of CA or epoxy in any of the hardwares or marts so I don't bother buying from them. I did need a touch of CA to finish a plane and bought the little tube of Gorilla glue CA, it's just CA but the price for that little dab of glue was a rip off.
