new guy

Came across one of my dad's old projects when he was younger. I asked him about it and he can't remember what plane it is. I do have pics to share and see if someone can help? Possibly. I definitely hope so. Anyways it is just the fuselage and wing. Need some help identifying this and maybe some help with the building. I'm an automotive mechanic and can generally figure things out pretty fast.
