LOL. I must getting old, or possibly becoming sane once again, 'cause I can't imagine trying to handle any 1/8 scale buggy/truggy with more that a 4S pack in it. I though my truggy was stupid fast just with a 4S LiPo .

And my vote; along with $.02, is to look at the 1/8 scale buggy side of things (like suggested from others above ^^) or even a truggy. Most are built with thicker material to take the abuse of normal off-road and general bashing. The added weight that goes along with the bigger scale, of course, makes 1/8 scale RCs easier to control when getting into rougher terrain and handles jumps better IMO.
