I'd probably just get the right size aluminum tubing, slide it over the stinger, then tap/screw it on.Hoses always slip off.

Me too, if you don't make a good anti vibe clamp on those flex tubes they break after a flight or two. B&B or Central also has neoprene tubing for exhausts and tuned pipes that works well if you make a lip around the pipes with some JB weld.
