Trailing link gear is the key. There are a lot of sport jets on the market that offer that. If you want to do scale that yes the L39 or a Hawk because of the larger wheels and gear. The only issues with the trailing link nose wheel it that is you don't have the CG right it wants to bounce real easy on landings.

Also the bigger the jet the lighter the wing loading so it makes is easy to fly slow and you can slow it down on landings.

I feel in love with the hawk 4 years ago when I saw a FEJ flown in Pa. It could slow down and land so easy. I have a short ruff field and my big handles it nicely.
