Default RE: Curtiss P-40N Warhawk from Hobby Lobby

I didn't have the heart to permanently glue the wing into the fuselage so I took advantage of the fact that the wing fits into the fuselage like a glove and that my bottom balsa spar stuck out next to the wing.

I simply glued another short piece of light plywood to the wing and then screwed the two wood pieces together. The trailing edge is easily taped in several key areas.

The result is a removeable wing that is locked in place very solid. I suspect that I may be upgrading the stock Speed 300 motor to a Speed 280BB in the future. In this gearbox, the Speed 280BB stays running forward (CCW) and is a significant power boost.
