Yes, this is true. I just posted the same thoughts on the other thread for this bird, expanding on the point that LTMA-1 (self-inspection) process begins at 55 lbs, the weight MUST include being full of fuel.

This is straight from the "Large Model Aircraft" section of AMA Doc 520-A

  1. LTMA-1 are turbine-powered model airplanes weighing 55 pounds (25 kilogram) to 77.2pounds (35 kilograms), with fuel, ready to fly.
