Foam wing construction using vacuum

Vacuum is set at 5" Hg neg. For this wing size it's the equivalent of about 1200 lbs. Breather is a must to produce the desired result. Mine is very hi tech....paper towels are taped on the sheeting and a path to the vac source is created with a piece of felt.

This method is very easy and assures continuous contact on every square mm. Even a marginal amount glue sticks well. I roll the glue on with a small foam spong roller for smooth surfaces. Much glue soaks into the sponge so residual is rolled on the foam also making it tacky.

i use US Composites, EZ Lam, Pro Set, whatever epoxy I have at the time for wings because of the 60-90 min working window. Gorilla for stabs because these are faster and there is enough time before the gorilla sets
