The servo thing is new to me for this size bird, I have no desire to spend more than needed just didn't want to go to light. I have a bag full of futaba 3004's are these to light? I do not do 3D but I do get a little crazy with snaps and spins from time to time so I was thinking I might need more than plastic gears. Do the CS 65 and CS 70 have metal gears or do I need them? I'm not dead set on the motor, I will investigate the OS 1.60. as far as the lanier I have no experience with them but have heard on these forums that their Customer service might be less than desireable but this could be an isolated incident. I will take you advise and do some more research.
I was dead set on a Dave Patrick 300 but after what I read on it I started to look for somthing else.
With the right engine what are your experiences with the H9 edge? I have had several of their planes and they seem to be better than some and not as good as others.

This post is about getting what I want the first time around so we are on the right track so far.
