Not everything about these was beautiful, but the style was awesome, the size was right, they looked like jets. It's what I grew up with. I miss designs like these. Even today's jets that are similar don't look the same. The flash has something droppy about the fuselage that I just don't like, The Bandit ARF is ok, I just don't want a 5K ARF. I enjoy building when I have time, many of these jets didn't even take that long to build, they flew well, yes they weren't "light trainer jets" but what we considered trainer jets back then was a far cry from what trainer jets today are.
