A radio, is a radio, is a radio. When you outgrow one or age gets in the way, sure, go shopping, but no reason to abandon 72Mhz to keep up with the Jones's. People go through radios more than they take them out to the field, and second hand "like new" is a bargain to take there experiment off their hands as they quest to get the "best."
