gearcased-- A simple solution to making nice landing gear, is to bend a piece of aluminum stock. i was lucky enough to have an old "Stop Sign" that was given to me, and it is made from tempered aluminum, and is quite strong, as well as has nice flexibility. I've made several from this stop sign, and I love how well they follow the contour of our grassy field. The yellow Cub is the Great Planes 81" fabric covered Cub, so I think it's a lot easier than trying to bend wire, and looks a lot better than the original wire gear with the added wood covers.
