So does bouncing my Hanger 9 P-47 150 off a building roof on landing qualify?
It was it's second flight and was not quite used to its size being larger than my other planes, and where I thought it was in relation to the building was way off and actually on the other side of it. It's almost fully repaired, reglassed the cowl today, so it needs some sanding and some filling and paint to look good again, and I need to order a wing tube. Beautiful flying plane, was bringing it in to adjust the low to mid range on the engine when the incident happened.
