Default Convenient Cheap Discharger

Hi guys, thought I would post something that is working well for me. I often will have fully charged packs when returning from the field. Knowing that I may not make it out for a while, I had worked on a number of dischargers. This one is pretty easy to get going and will work with out typical 5s 5000 packs quite well. Anyway, I've posted the link to the rcgroup thread that shows the original information on it, and where I found the info. The other link is for the unit as purchased from Amazon. However, there are tons of MUCH cheaper places to go if you want. It's worked well for me so far.

The amp draw is about 3.5A regardless of cell size or number, so keep that in mind. I'm using a single unit, but some guys are putting multiple units together to get different draw and times out of them.

PS I never discharge if I'm not home and around the shop.
