And now our field is not multi rotor friendly at all. The Cook County Forest preserve has instituted its "drone" policy. There are nine R/C flying sites in the county system. multi rotors are allowed at six of them and are banned at three of them. With that said the county designated six additional sites exclusively for drone flying, That brings the total to 15 sites in the county where fixed wing and or multi rotor flying is allowed. Some people are saying Amen to the ban while others are up in arms about it. It should be a very interesting flying season this year. I personally think the county has been very generous to the rc flying community here in cook county.
