e flite sells corsair electric retracts that rotate 95 degrees and can take a hit or two that's were I would go.
the rotating 60-120 size Eflight's are rated for planes up to 15 pounds, so on a 10 or 12 pound plane they should hold up well, mine seem to work quite smoothly
