I am a bit nervous of the electric ones because I had an electric robart set for the Hanger 9 60cc Corsair (which are essentially the same design) which lasted a few cycles before stripping. BarracudaHockey it looks like Horizon have the electric ones in stock as well.
For me it is air only on bigger gear. It isn't that hard to trace leaks if they happen. My Hellcat gear have been what I expect out of Robart. They hold air and go up and down, that's all I ask. I do use Tam's failsafes, but haven't needed them. But just in case.....
We have the Electrics in our P-47 and they have been a pain. Sometimes it takes 8 or 9 tries to get the get to wake up and come down. I don't like that.
