But, then again, you could use it to 'outline' a rib of thicker dimensions and then hand cut / sand to final shape. A lot of options you have created for yourself here.

I use 1/16 inch balsa for ribs on up to .25 aize glow planes and 3/32 on up to .45 glow. Looks like a pretty handy device to me.
