I loved my A9 but moved on after 4 seasons (IIRC) for more channels and features. As for a radio being all you will ever need .... maybe so. But one day radios do wear out and become obsolete due to parts no longer being available. Make plans now for what you might want your A9 replacement to be. We had (3) Aurora radios in our small flying group and one was a 9X. Only the 9x is still in use.
