Whew . . . sure took quite a while to read all of today's post on this forum. All I can contribute is we all are the forerunners of our society we see today. Kind of mirrors ACDC's comments.
Been seeing so much of the 3D printing stuff it boggles the mind (my mind anyway . . . LOL). Been wanting a replica of the antique Mercedes Dlll airplane engine to use with a BUSA Taube 90 kit. And the 3D "stuff" seems to be IT. This non-tekky old school guy did some internet looking and did get boggled for sure. Even bought a 1\48 scale plastic kit on line.
Is this something you might become interested in tinkering with ? ? ? BUSA has the 1\3 scale top portion kit, but their Taube 90 kit, looks to be about 1\7 scale in size.
