I am planning to buy a Moki 180 radial in the future to power a FiberClassic Yak-11.
We have noise restrictions of 84 dB measured from 7 meter (23 ft) from the model.
It is an average of 3 measurements from different angles (fwd, aft, side)
Does anyone know if it is feasible to stay below this limit with a Moki 180 and a 3-blades prop?
Thanks
I am using a SEP 26x15 3-blade on my 180. It is unbelievably quiet. While I have never tested it with a db meter, I don't think you can find a quieter combination than this. It will pull your Yak like a freight train.
