I'm going to venture and say that you are not the first nor the last. If it is Military Property, regardless of risk, the DOD is clamping down on this. Maybe, just maybe sometime in the future these may be rolled back, but in the meantime....
Do not give up on the AMA or the local Ft Rucker leadership. It will be a hard road, as this is coming from the Pentagon and people that live in the DC SFRA (Special Flight Rules Area).
