Yes, you can carefully cut the overall length to suit your needs...

Just be sure to match the length of the active part (under the yellow heat shrink) of the antenna (coax) to the exact size as the original.
Use a new sharp blade (or better yet a dedicated coax stripper) being sure to not cut into the dielectric; just cut/remove the outer jacket and shield.
