Default Concorde

A truly superb model, totally unique and he has even got the subtle contours of the nose correct.

The video has been going around the world before it reached RCU.

The nose does droop but it does not appear to have the retractable visor which always actuated before the droop snoot operated.

For take off and initial climb the nose was drooped to 5 degrees with a stowed visor, full droop for approach and landing, giving a much better view of the runway and vastly increasing the noise on the flight deck !

At the Brooklands Museum in UK , the guys who rescued DG, a preproduction Concorde, now have the nose and visor working so it is possible to see it in action. The mechanism itself was all designed and built by Marshalls of Cambridge and worked flawlessly, the switch for it being an old Britannia flap lever !

A truly fantastic model which will stop JetPower in its tracks.

Pity about the colour scheme though !
