Finally got the engine problem sorted...it was a new carb that I had installed but is defective somehow so the original was reinstalled and engine runs great now. However a new problem has arisen with glue joints coming unglued after 10+ years. First, the throttle servo mount broke free from the balsa slab base and then today, while running the RCV, the left aileron hinge broke free and the flap mounting nut came loose.
