Nothing unusual in getting a strong tailwind from a jetstream.

We used to hold the record with a BA VC10 cruising at Mach .825 true.set in 1979.

There were some VERY strong jetstreams too, on the TYO to HKG route , too.

absolutely nothing at all you know, and I know. I have been on a few very quick west east crossings to too, I am amazed you are the one who has bitten.
