I added a cabinet in the back behind the wheels. In the cabinet I have a heavy duty and cycle 12v battery. I will also carry a 5 gallons of fuel under it. I have noticed that if you put more weight on the axle or behind the axle, the trailer rides better. I’ve heard of guys permanently adding dead weight of a hundred pounds or so. Even mounting the weight outside underneath the floor, attached to the frame to get a better ride. Just a thought.
