Isn't the output shaft on these made of steel? I'm curious how a steel part cracked..Even is this shaft was made
of brass how would that crack under normal use? I could see parts developing fatigue or stress cracks if they
were made with the wrong heat treat temper or were work hardened during manufacture...but still that's unusual..
