That's a big generalization that isn't particularly accurate. The HS 18302 is $35-40 ready to run and it hasn't let me down. HBX 16889 is a brushless for about $85-90 right now and it's my favorite of the bunch. Packs a good punch, can do wheelies on a Li-Po, doesn't overheat. The only question really is about parts availaility which both these have.
