i’ve got the first set of composite wings done. Overall the weight savings is going to be about 1lb, but the biggest difference is the wingtip weight is 1.5lbs less Each with the composite wings compared to the built up ones. This is significantly less and will help reduce the need for nose weight and the overall weight of the airplane.

First wings all done and on a center section. Flight controls are still left to layup.







Wing set #2 in the vacuum bag with a couple small additions to help stiffen the wing skins in a few places.
