Bisco, I'm new on this forum and apparently I'm not allowed to post URLs until I have posted ten times, but if you do a Google Search for "rathergoodguides" you'll find it under the Documents section.

I specifically wrote the Rather Good Guide® for both newcomers and experienced pilots -- there's a free 77 page sample that you might want to download first -- it has five pages of each of the main sections -- plus the table of contents, the table of figures, and the index so you can get a good sense of what's covered, how it's covered, and whether or not it's what you need.
