The Rimfire .46 is probably overkill for the LT40 EG. The Rimfire .32 might be a better choice. I have the same plane powered by a Himax HC3528-1000 with 4S 5000 mah LiPOs and a Castle Creations 75 amp ESC. Prop used is a 10x7E APC. The plane flies great with more than enough power.
