I got to fly my Rebel Hot for the 1st time Sunday. I was a little nervous and this was the 1st time I've flown a turbine. The airplane was tested by the local expert the week before. So, I knew going in it was good.
The Rebel Hot is a very nice flying airplane. I'd say it flies like a FW Avanti. Mine is 11.5lbs dry and about 13.5lbs fully fueled. I have a 1.2L CM tank and after 5 minutes I landed with a little less than a half tank. But I didn't use full throttle after take off.
The all black wing bottom is less than ideal. Perhaps I'll add some graphics.
I wouldn't mind lights.
